Our Mission
The mission of AccelRecovery Inc. is to develop or restore individuals to a level of functioning that allows each client to maintain sobriety while developing a sense of independence and dignity. The goal is to enable clients to become consistently positive contributors to their community and families. The objective is to address rehabilitation of the individual with chemical dependency issues and to provide individuals in treatment with the basis of making overall lifestyle changes and preventing relapse into chemical dependency, by the use of a unique combination of scientific and research based methodologies known as the O'Neal Protocol.Services Provided
Under licensure by the Texas Department of State Health Services, the AccelRecovery Inc's drug and alcohol rehab program provides individual counseling, group counseling and substance education. Length of stay is determined by the severity of the client's addiction and the services necessary to meet the client's needs within the guidelines established by the Texas Department of Insurance. Some clients are judicially mandated to assessment and/or treatment but are offered freedom of choice amongst referred providers of that care (with a minimum of three referrals offered if care is found to be needed) and are therefore considered voluntary clients.
The drug and alcohol rehab Outpatient Program consists of education groups addressing chemical dependency and related lifestyle issues and relapse prevention. In the outpatient program the client is exposed to a positive peer culture, which facilitates positive lifestyle changes. Longer-term clients, along with staff, serve as role models within the treatment environment. Negative and/or unmotivated behaviors are confronted by positive peer confrontation/evaluation of motivation under the direct supervision of clinical staff in process group setting. Outside peer support groups are an integral part of the treatment process, as well, thereby equipping clients for successful transition to the community.
